Happy Easter and other stuff

First of all, Happy Easter to everyone! As you hide baskets around the house, hunt for eggs with your children, and enjoy a delicious meal with friends and family, please take a moment to remember why we celebrate this day. It is easy to forget, in the day-to-day hustle and bustle, that God is constantly at work in our lives.

We have had a fun Easter so far around the Schreck house. The kids were up with the birds this morning, but that is not a surprise, as they were anticipating the arrival of the Easter bunny. After finding their baskets and some cleverly hidden eggs, they spent some time coloring hard-boiled eggs in the kitchen. (Pictures will be added soon.) Although Natalie chose to spend most of the time screaming, "I DO IT!!" and then collapsing on the floor in her usual drama queen fashion, we still had a fun time. Later, we are off to Grandma Jessie's for Easter dinner.

In other news....NATALIE POOPED IN THE POTTY YESTERDAY!! This was very exciting. She has been very interested in the potty lately, and has sat on it many times, but this was the first time she had actually done something. She told us she had to go, so we sat her on the potty, and the rest is history! We had a mini-party in the bathroom as the rest of the clapped, cheered, and jumped up and down for her. Time to break out the M & M's! Wow, will it be nice to have all three children in underwear. Of course, she's not there yet, but hopefully it won't be long!
